I have a thought on it, it’s to expensive and thin now for me to ever buy one. I get what they are trying to do.. make it thinner so people want the Magic Keyboard and carry it like a laptop. That’s not gonna happen at that price.. someone can buy the 14” MacBook Pro pretty highly spec’d for the same price. Hit and a miss. They sure are cool but no way I’m spending $1,500 after tax on a base 13” The new 13” Air maybe but getting a gimped display runs me the wrong way. Probably just keep buying MacBook airs cause they work great for my use needs.

When it was presented, I thought, damn, all this can be just a software on the phone, without extra plastic casing, as in extra gadget to carry or pollute the planet! The other gadget which was the one that projected on your hand ... and I thought, again ( :) ), what is that supposed to be! Both useless as presented. I am sure one day they will just be part of your phone.

I have an M3 Pro 14 inch and a 2 year old Omen 17 inch with a 3080ti. Only one of these has the power to use the signal from a wacom tablet to let me fill in worksheets for my students since neither company makes a touchscreen laptop with any horsepower (or at all). The winner is not the new computer. Not even close. The mac also more expensive. It also can't even find a resolution that plays nice with a G9 samsung monitor without either making the text microscoping, or running a 57 inch monitor at roughly 3800x1400.

It’s amazing that burn-in is always a term I hear when people talk about OLED. It makes sense given how the tech works. But in my own experience no OLED screen I have used for years has ever done it. But I’ve had many IPS displays with most being from Apple on the iPad, MacBook Pro, and iMac burn in like crazy. Anyway I’m excited to see where this new screen tech goes.

Come on Dave, the new pencil only works with the new iPads as the charging mechanism sits either side of the webcam, which is now in landscape orientation. On the older iPads the charging mechanism was where the webcam now is.

As much as I love Apple products, it is an extremely cynical company that is always trying to squeeze as much as possible with little insignificant things that make some old things not compatible with the new one. I'll pass, my iPad mini is more than enough for Netflix and surfing in bed or on vacation

M4 iPad is a lot of gimmicky shit with minimal benefits. The improvements in the Apple Pencil are nice though.

I had a MacBook Pro with M1 Pro and sold it just because of the different controls and ui compared to windows. Turns out I hate Mac OS because nearly everything works a little different compared to windows. Otherwise, the MacBook was extremely nice in every other way.

of these, which is an affordable pick that has decent performance, decent battery life, low sound (at least when I'm not gaming), and a good screen? I currently have a Dell G15 gaming laptop, and while it's great, I'm running out of storage and need more ram. so considering an upgrade. just want something that is really good value (for the price), has good performance, a good screen, and decent battery life. low sound and not too big/heavy is a bonus as i'd have to use it for college as well. Essentially a jack of all trades. What would you recommend? Would love your input :)

there alot of cases when im working, and i dont want my phone to get damaged so i leave it somewhere close by, but not on me, and I always wish i could change settings and control my airpods from the case, rather than washing my hands and picking up my phone. My airpods case is already dirty but I like to keep my phone clean. Also having the screen on the airpods only control audio stuff is more streamlined and useful than using apples unoptimized ui.

I cannot stop laughing at the prices for this tablet. It is still basically a large iPhone with Pen support. To be fair though, if I had built a cult as twisted, dark and successful as Apple, I would be milking all my follower plebs for every single cash dollar in their pockets too. After all, you can't fix stupid. Cope!
